Who We Are
Veritas Construction, Inc or (VCI) is a Service Connected Veteran Owned Small Business and has been doing business in Colorado since 2006. Ben Mendoza, President of VCI, has been actively involved in the construction industry for over 38 years. Ben has been involved in projects that have included vertical & horizontal construction as well as construction compliance inspections, quality control and quality assurance.
VCI’s President has expertise in building codes & inspection services working for a number of building departments, managing building departments, project management, quality control and providing quality assurance to military construction as a former Sr. Construction Representative of the US Army Corps of Engineers.
VCI’s experience also includes design/build efforts, constructability assessments and project/construction management. The expertise of VCI and its staff has experiences working as a contractor, as a designer, as an owner’s representative and as a government’s inspection/approval authority places it in the unique position of being able to comprehensively address varied projects.
Through this VCI appropriately plans projects and then properly executes those plans to deliver those projects in a more cost effective and timely manner which benefits the owner and ultimate end-users.

As a general contractor, we take on the responsibility of overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the construction process, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. We have the knowledge and experience to handle most projects of mid-size and below.

Design Build allows us to take full responsibility for both the design and construction of a project, streamlining the process and minimizing the need for potential costly change orders. With our connection's with experienced designers and builders we work closely with our clients to develop a project specifically for the end users needs.

CONSULTING
Ben Mendoza, President of VCI has experience in architectural drafting, city building inspections, he has worked as a city building official, project manager, construction manager, quality control manager, and as a Sr. Quality Assurance Representative for the US Army Corps of Engineers, making him and his company a good choice for construction consultations. VCI consulting services are designed to help our clients make informed decisions about their construction projects. From constructability reviews and cost estimates to project management advice and design support, we can help you with your need to succeed.
SAFETY
Safety is at the forefront of everything we do at Veritas. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and ethics in all our business practices, and we expect the same from our subcontractors, vendors, and partners. Our Safety Manual outlines our expectations for safety and guides our team members. We also invest in regular safety training and ensure that all team members maintain current 10 hour OSHA safety certifications and are up-to-date on the latest safety practices.
